WHAT IS EFFECTIVE LEVEL?
Effective Level is a game aid designed to keep track of a players effective level (their base level, plus all gear/item bonuses). The app also keeps track of a players sex, calculates the result of player vs monster combat, and lets you roll a d6. The app was designed primarily for use with the card game Munchkin.
WHAT MAKES IT UNIQUE?
What separates Effective Level from the other "counter apps" out there, is its stat tracking. You can capture a ton of data about each game you play. This data can then be accessed later to give you greater insight on how successful youve been. Whether you aim to increase your largest kill streak or youre just looking for definitive bragging rights, stats are going to change the way youve been gaming.

Perfecting for simplifying a few of the tedious parts of munchkin; level, gear bonus, and combat modifiers. Very stable so I very pleased with this app.
Good stats but for 1 player only
This is a great app for any hard core munchkin fan. It will speed up gameplay when combat events are subject to a bunch of affect cards. But for those munchkins who play regularly this app has an additional stat tracker that will let you keep track of your battle wins, losses, traps, etc. Great for bragging to your friends about your K/bt ratio or complaining about how misfortunate you are to drawing traps.
I use this app for Munchkin; I assume it could be used for other board/card games. The app is easy to use and works great. Its handy for a running tally when theres a combat with a lot of enhancers, one-shots, and other convoluted cards.
I felt this FREE app was so fantastic and well designed that I made it my first review in 3+ years on the app store. It has everything I wanted from a Munchkin calculator plus a multitude of things I didnt know I really needed. Track your level and gear strength separate, then provide a totaled Effective Level. Track your gender. Built in Die Toggle to prevent iDevice sleep Combat calculator to easily keep track of the positive and negative effects on monsters and PCs. Plus you nerds can track just how many times you have kicked down a door only to be cursed.... Or tracked how many times you were killed, or did kill. Or how much treasure you picked up. You can track these per game, or even save lifetime stats. Plus there is a tutorial you can view in-app. This app is quite literally perfect. It does everything you want in munchkin, seamlessly, expediently and without any clutter or ads or popups. It is designed for just munchkin, and it could not be better unless I got paid to download and use it. 10/10. I was so moved I had to write this one and only review I have ever written.
